Volcanic Underwater Landscapes: Witness the raw beauty of Tenerife’s volcanic origins. Dive amongst impressive basalt columns, explore intricate lava tubes, navigate exciting swim-throughs, and discover dramatic drop-offs and caves. Sites like the volcanic formations at Las Eras or the yellow sand of Montaña Amarilla offer truly unique underwater scenery.

Incredible Marine Biodiversity:

The Canary Islands are a crossroads in the Atlantic, boasting a rich tapestry of marine life. Expect to encounter playful Green Turtles, majestic Rays (including Stingrays, Eagle Rays, and occasionally Manta Rays), elusive Angel Sharks (especially in winter), curious Octopus and Cuttlefish, schools of Roncadores (a local Grunt fish).

Barracudas, Groupers, Moray Eels, and a kaleidoscope of colourful reef fish. Dolphins are often sighted from the dive boats too!

Excellent Visibility

Generally, the waters around Tenerife offer fantastic visibility, often between 10 to 30 meters, and sometimes even more, allowing you to fully appreciate the stunning underwater vistas and marine encounters.

Thanks to its privileged climate, Scuba Diving Tenerife is a year-round activity. Water temperatures remain comfortable, ranging from 18−19∘C in the cooler months to a balmy 25−26∘C in late summer. The best season is often cited as September to February for calm seas and excellent visibility.
